Retail Property giant Hammerson, has announced today that the luxury lifestyle brand, The White Company is set to open its first site in Southampton later this year.
Opening in the Westquay Shopping Centre, the new 6,500 sq ft flagship unit is expected to be ready for business in time for Christmas,
Highlighting the significance of the announcement, Iain Mitchell, UK Commercial Director at Hammerson, said: “Across our portfolio, we’re actively rotating our retailer mix, with a focus on aspirational, growing brands that offer a really engaging in-store experience. The White Company is a prime example of that strategy in action. Today’s announcement also highlights the benefits of pop-up stores, as The White Company trialled their offer on a short-term basis before taking a permanent space. The store will bring something new to Westquay, and will really complement other brands we have at the destination, such as Hugo Boss, Tommy Hilfiger, and Laing the Jewellers.”
The White Company has made a reputation for itself by delivering stylishly designed products for nearly 25 years, emphasising quality over quantity.
The new Westquay store aims to showcase all the high-quality collections that the brand has become synonymous with, and falls in line with a number of new brands arriving in the centre this year including Tommy Hilfiger and Typo.
