The Arcadian in Birmingham is now fully let after a new restaurant claims the last remaining unit.
The new tenant is pan-Asian/Western fusion eatery Rozu Restaurant, an 80-seater restaurant that will serve high-quality food alongside an upmarket cocktail lounge. The restaurant is aiming to stand out from the crowd with its boldly decorated pink and green interior, flowered ceilings and flamingos.
Commenting on the upcoming opening which is expected to create 20 jobs, Rory May of Rozu Restaurant said: “I’m excited to bring this concept to The Arcadian, bringing even more colour and vibrancy to this popular leisure venue.”
Rozu Restaurant has already undertaken extensive refurbishment works at the 2,746 sq ft first-floor unit ahead of next months opening.
Located in the Chinese Quarter, The Arcadian is one of Birmingham’s best-known venues, and is owned and managed by one of the UK’s largest commercial property and investment firms, London Cambridge Properties (LCP).
Jo Kinsella, centre manager, said: “The Arcadian has long been a popular and vibrant city centre venue that has a huge range of restaurants, bars, clubs and shops and we are pleased to welcome yet another high-quality operator. Rozu completes what is a diverse offering here, and we are confident that it complements perfectly the dining options already here.”
