Stanhope and AFIAA have come together for the first time to launch a new office block that with views overlooking St Paul’s Cathedral.
Named Gresham St Paul’s, the office block will be situated on Gresham Street and will include 170,000 sq ft of prime office space over nine floors.
The investors also plan to accommodate large terraces on the top three floors (as seen on featured image).
The architects behind the design – Stirling Prize won awards for architecture on the Gateshead Millennium Bridge and Magna.
For this project, Stirling Prize has used the latest glazing technology for better airflow of fresh air as well as maximum room for natural light.
The ground floor of the new office block will consist of a range of different amenities including a café and business lounge.
Kevin Darvishi, Leasing Director at Stanhope, said: “The sustainable redevelopment of Gresham St Paul’s will provide a host of amenities on the ground floor, light-filled working spaces that improve business performance and amazing views from the three new terraces of St Paul’s Cathedral.”
Construction for the office block, cafe and two retail units on the ground floor, is to commence later this month, and it is expected to be ready for occupants by Autumn 2020.
