One of South Africa’s largest private sector employers Shoprite Group has created a total of 409 jobs with the launch of 16 new stores across five different provinces in South Africa.
All stores are expected to launch within the second half of April 2019, with Shoprite planning a further 50 stores which are scheduled to be opened in December 2019.
Statistics so far show that Shoprite has conducted 1 billion transactions over the Group’s 2,800 stores with an increase of 2.4% in customers in 2018’s financial year.
