Ryden Advises Sale of Glasgow Govan Travelodge

Linthouse Business Park has successfully completed the development and onward sale of Glasgow Govan Travelodge hotel.

The 60-room hotel was acquired by a private investor for £5.26m with an initial yield of 5.59% and is located on Linthouse Road in the riverside Glasweigian district of Govan.

Travelodge is the UK’s largest independent hotel brand and entered into a pre-letting of the property, which is close to the recently opened Queen Elizabeth University Hospital, Europe’s largest critical care complex currently serving 41% of Scotland’s population.

The sale was advised by one of the largest independent commercial property firms, Ryden, who acted on behalf of Linthouse Business Park Ltd while CBRE (Belfast) represented the purchaser.
