Leading commercial property agency, Bond Wolfe Commercial has put a popular hotel in Worcestershire up for sale.
Seeking offers of over £600,000, the popular Bluemont Hotel in Bromsgrove is reportedly already attracting interest from potential buyers.
The hotel & leisure sector has faced a bleak year following the coronavirus outbreak with a substantial drop in both national and international visits. As previously reported, investment volumes in the UK’s hotel sector declined by a staggering 66% compared to 2019.
However, a defiant James Mattin, Chief Executive of Bond Wolfe Commercial, said: “Despite the devastating impact the global pandemic has had on the hotel industry over the last 12 months, we are delighted by the initial response we have had to the Bluemont Hotel coming to market.
“There is clearly still an appetite from investors to park their money in assets like this so we are confident of concluding a swift sale.”
The established Bluemont hotel has 27 ensuite guest bedrooms and is currently run by a full-time manager and part-time cleaning staff.
The hotel had a turnover of £152,586 for the year ending 31 March 2020 and has scored a high 8.6 out of 10 on Booking.com.
