A prominent Shropshire-based building contractor has announced the securing of a new contract to transform a Grade II-listed building in Staffordshire into luxury accommodation.
Pave Aways revealed that they had been selected to convert three floors of storage facilities at the East Wing of the listed Granary building at Weston Under Lizard Estate at Weston Park, into a boutique 13- bedroom short stay accommodation.
Commenting on the contract, Managing Director Steven Owen (pictured) said: “This is a very exciting development for Weston Park and will be a valuable addition, enhancing the facilities for weddings, conferences and more.
“It will be utilising the services of our in-house architect and our experienced team of craftsmen to deliver a sympathetic and high specification conversion that will echo the standard already offered at Weston Park.”
The contract for the Grade II-listed building is the latest hospitality contract secured by Pave Aways, who recently completed a £10m spa at Cheshire’s Carden Park Hotel.
In addition, the established building contractor has also secured nearly £2m worth of objects in recent weeks, including a 10-bungalow development and a two-classroom extension at Shrewsbury’s Sundorne Infants School.
Speaking on the school contract, Mr Owen added: “We have been appointed to the Sundorne scheme on a design and build basis, so we deliver the entire project from concept to completion. This provides a seamless service and a single point of contact for the clients.”
