Overbury Relocates to 1,898 sqft Suite in St Vincent Street, Glasgow

The UK’s leading fit-out and refurbishment specialist Overbury, are set to move their Glasgow office after taking a 10-year lease at ‘One80’ on St Vincent Street.

Relocating to a 1,898 sq ft suite on the first floor, Overbury negotiated a 10-year lease with owners Northwood Regional UK, at a rental of £23.50 per sq ft per annum.

Mark Evans, Northwood Regional UK Director, commented on the deal: “We are delighted to have attracted a tenant of such high quality as Overbury. We very much look forward to welcoming them in the building.”

Discussing the selection of ‘One80’ at 180 St Vincent Street, Dan Clarke, Head of Scotland at Overbury, said: “We chose this space as it gives us an opportunity to put our own stamp on the suite, and really showcase our skills within our own office. It’s also centrally located, which makes it convenient for our clients and staff.

“With a decade of experience in delivering fit out projects in Scotland, we’re excited to continue our journey with a larger office in Glasgow. This is the natural next step for us, and will enable us to even better serve our clients across Scotland.”

The Overbury deal follows a 5,160 sq ft eighth floor let to HRC Recruitment, as well as a 5,865 sq ft 6th floor let by marketing technology specialist Socialicity, and the 4,804 sq ft ninth floor deal by legal firm Turcan Cornell.

Northwood Regional UK, recently conducted a full refurbishment of the building, creating an attractive space suitable for professional services and corporate occupiers.

Ken McInnes of Ryden – who represented Northwood in the deal alongside JLL – added: “Comprehensive refurbishment of office space is still vital in Glasgow City Centre, with high-quality refurbishments letting well”.

“Companies are also increasingly taking into account their employees’ expectations when they look for premises, making the work experience attractive and engaging, and Northwood Regional UK’ approach with One80 ticks all the boxes.”
