Scotland’s most prominent chartered surveyors, Allied Surveyors Scotland have recently completed a purchase of Cockenzie Business Centre on behalf of a private investor.

The building which was built in 1865 under the name Cockenzie School, is being renamed by new owners to Cockenzie Business Hub.

Marketing for the business suites has already started, space starts from 143 sq ft to 4,055 sq ft.

The property was supposed to go on sale last month, 24th October however, the parties struck a pre-sale deal before it was due to go live.

Allied Surveyors Scotland’s director of commercial agency (east), Iain Mercer, commented: “We identified this building as having a number of active asset management opportunities,

“The area around this property is changing with nearby developments such as Blindwells, so there is bound to be an increase in demand for business space.”
