Leeds-based commercial real estate company Crookshank Properties has acquired a 36,850 sq ft office park in Denton, Greater Manchester, for £6m from Amerdale Investments.
Named Ridgway Office Park, the large site comprises of three separate buildings and is the second commercial property purchase by Crookshank Properties in the North West (within the last nine months), following the company’s purchase of the fully occupied 2,500 sq ft Hercules Business Park in Cheadle, near Stockport, for £5.1m from Royal London Asset Management.
Commenting on the Ridgway Office Park deal, Crookshank Properties director, Bernard Meehan, said: “We are very pleased to have secured a highly sought-after asset in an ideal location. Completing this deal was one of life’s better experiences thanks to the practical advice and excellent attention to detail of our team at Gordons.
“With both Ridgway and Hercules now in our portfolio, we are actively assessing other investment opportunities in the north of England.”
Large Yorkshire-based law firm Gordons advised Crookshank Properties on both the deal at Ridgway and the deal at Hercules.
