LCP’s Multi-Screen Wolverhampton Cinema Greenlit

Commercial property and investment company London & Cambridge Properties (LCP) have received planning permission to create a multi-screen cinema at a prominent shopping centre in Wolverhampton.

As previously reported by Commercial People last month, LCP aimed to transform the layout of 4 units at the Wulfrun Shopping Centre into a multi-screen auditorium which could seat up to 150 visitors. Plans are also in place to develop restaurants in the vicinity.

Commenting on the projects approval, Andrew Barrett, Retail Director at Kingswinford-based LCP, said: “We’re pleased to have received positive support from within the community to further enhance the diverse offering within Wulfrun Shopping Centre and to bring a highly anticipated leisure hub to the heart of the city centre, which welcomes some nine million visitors each year

“The hard work is just beginning, and we are looking forward to forging ahead with our plans, to the benefit of the shopping centre and to the people of Wolverhampton, who I’m sure will welcome the convenience of a city centre cinema.”
