Landmark Coventry Pub Sold in £3m Deal

Property agents Bond Wolfe have brokered the sale of The Flying Standard pub in Coventry to a private investor for £3.225 million.

Located in Trinity Street at the heart of the city centre, The Flying Standard is a medieval-style, 12,170 sq ft Wetherspoon-occupied property that also features two apartments on the second floor, above the two-storey pub.

The Flying Standard also benefits by being well placed for the city’s central shopping quarter, sitting opposite of Primark and West Orchard Shopping Centre.

Highlighting the rarity of the property, Bond Wolfe Managing Partner James Mattin said: “City centre freehold properties rarely come to the market, and so we were delighted to work with the purchaser and advisers Coffer Corporate Leisure on the acquisition.”
