IM Properties known as IMP has successfully delivered the largest stand-alone Grade A office building at Blythe Valley Park (BVP) at M42.
The building was strategically bought in 2018 by a long term occupier, the new owners have spent £5 million to refurbish the property which is due for completion in the summer.
Trigen and One Central Boulevard have also received success recently by securing letting tenants in GymShark, PFK Cooper Parry, GKN Aerospace.
Rob Hemus, Asset Director at IM Properties, said: “BVP has gone from strength to strength since we took ownership in 2014 and become a big success story for the region and IMP, with nearly 3500 people now working there.
“With limited supply on the M42 corridor, 01 Blythe Gate will have great appeal for occupiers with nothing of this scale or standard currently available.”
Rob added: “Our strategy of creating a best in class environment for the modern occupier, focussed on what companies need in order to attract and retain the best talent, has seen our wellbeing agenda really resonate with occupiers and their employees.
“The 122 acres of surrounding country park is integral to the offering, and we’ve worked hard to improve and integrate the green spaces into occupier’s working days through landscaping, promoting walking meeting routes and cycle paths, plus a programme of business community events.”
The location will play a key success for BVP, not only is located on the Junction 4 of the M42 but it has stations close by as well as the Birmingham Airport. The site also added a new bus service, which will help connectivity amongst new neighbour areas.
Savills and CBRE are the joint agents marketing BVP.
