St Modwen’s 310,000 sq ft Henley Business Park has now completed its last phase, delivering 82,000 sq ft.
Located in Guildford, the park has attracted more business to the development with the announcement of ‘The Technical Department’ who will take on 6,300 sq ft on a 10-year lease.
Specialist electrical contractor, The Technical Department, has over 30 years of experience with many key events they have covered such as the Olympic 2012 games.
Henley Business Park is the largest commercial regeneration project in West Surrey and Senior Development Manager at St. Modwen, David McGougan said: “St. Modwen has always had great confidence in this regional market. The business park now has a total of 310,000 sq ft of floor space developed in 25 buildings with all the first three phases fully occupied. The Technical Department letting on the back of the Hydronix deal in the final phase caps this and reinforces that Henley Business Park is becoming a real technology hub and is undoubtedly the proven location of choice for businesses in Surrey.”
St Modwen acquired the Henley Business Park in 2002. The site will employ around 500 people when fully occupied.
Jerry Singleton, Director of The Technical Department, commented: “High specification industrial and technology space is difficult to find across the region. This deal with St. Modwen is great for our long term business growth as we are doubling our space capacity. It’s a proven location with excellent access and yet close to Guildford. We have a modern, high-quality unit which really suits our needs.”
The chosen agents for the business park are JLL and Churchod & Co.
