One of the UK’s fastest-growing new sports brands has secured a six-figure funding boost after seeking the services of affordable and accessible law firm Harper James Solicitors.
Winter sports brand Oneskee successfully received a £250,000 investment from venture capital firm Midven in a deal that allows the firm to grow its distribution network and enter partnerships with retailers.
Brokering the deal on behalf of the sports apparel manufacturer was Adam Kudryl, Corporate Partner at Harper James Solicitors – a law firm that specialises in providing legal services for startups and early growth business.
Commenting on the deal, Adam said: “We are really pleased to have helped Oneskee to secure this fantastic investment from Midven. Supporting small businesses in achieving their expansion goals is one of our key aims as a firm, so it was a pleasure to pull out the stops for Oneskee and make this investment happen.”
Oneskee was formed in 2014 by brothers Scott and Josh Clifford, who decided to radically’ freshen up’ mountain fashion, and so, set about designing stylish snow onesies.
Five years on from their original idea Oneskee is now sold online in over 50 countries worldwide, and the Leamington Spa-based company believe that the investment will help them to become a globally-recognised snow sports brand.
Co-founder Scott Clifford spoke of his joy of confirming the investment stating: “We’re delighted to have secured the investment at a key time for the business, it will facilitate our growth & enable the brand to get to the next level”.
