First Reservations made at multi-million pound Glenmore Business Park

The award-winning property consultancy Kirkby Diamond has revealed that the first reservations are being made by businesses at their multi-million-pound speculative development of 23 business units in Bedford.

Situated in Glenmore Business Park development, the site is owned by the London-based investment and development company The Glenmore Group and is the first of its kind in the county town of Bedfordshire for more than 20 years. The multi-unit development is due to reach practical completion in September.

Andrew Clarke, Head of Commercial Agency at Kirkby Diamond said: “With around four months to go before Glenmore Business Park reaches practical completion, we are delighted to announce that we are already taking reservations for the first units.

“With rents starting at £11,750, and freeholds available, the development is proving to be extremely popular among the region’s business community. Bedford has had to wait more than 20 years for a development of this kind, and there is significant pent-up demand for the high-quality space on offer.”

Local businesses are showing a keen interest in the mix of light industrial and warehouse units available; sizes range from 1,104 sq ft to 1,550 sq ft and can be combined to create larger units.

Kirkby have also confirmed that each unit will have a first floor capable of being used as offices, sectional roller shutter loading doors, six-metre eaves height, and allocated parking spaces.
