The Dubai-based holding company Meraas, has formed a new joint venture teaming up with D-Marin Dubai and Dubai Holding.
The announcement delivered yesterday means that the largest marina chains within the Eastern Mediterranean will now begin managing the operations of Al Seef, Marasi and Jaddaf Waterfront marinas in Dubai.
D-Marin Dubai was set up in 2018 for the development and management market of marinas within the Gulf region but also created a regional maritime hub in Dubai. Overall the company is expected to manage and operate around 1,600 berths.
They will receive the technical consultancy aspect from Meraas for projects at Port de La Mer and Dubai Harbor, which is the only yachting community hub in the whole of Middle East.
D-Marin Dubai aims to develop its marina management services throughout the Middle East and diversify its portfolio, which will, in turn, should bring back tourism within the region. This joint venture has allowed the company to expand its marina network to reach 14 marinas in five countries now.
