Cushman & Wakefield Appoints New Head of Public Sector Advisory

Leading global real estate services firm, Cushman & Wakefield, has appointed Ben O’Connor to lead its Public Sector Advisory team in Bristol.

Joining from public sector-focused developer Kajima Partnerships, Ben possesses 19 years’ experience to the role and has managed bis to local authorities and NHS Trusts.

Commenting on his appointment, Ben said: “I’m looking forward to working with our existing team to provide genuine insight and best-in-class advice to our public sector clients, many of which are facing increasing budgetary pressures and having to change the way they deliver services.”

Prior to joining Kajima, Ben had also spent time as a Development Manager for the Homes and Communities Agency (now Homes England) and spent 12 years at GVA (now Avison Young).

In Ben’s new role he will be responsible for the delivery of key public-sector contracts in the South West and South Wakes, as well as helping to build the profile of Cushman’s Bristol office.
