One of the leading names in global real estate, Cushman & Wakefield has announced the appointment of a former Savills Director to lead their Capital Markets team in Birmingham.
Ned Jones has been appointed as a Partner, following a seven-year stint in the investment team at Savills Birmingham, where he specialised in the acquisition and disposal of commercial investments across the Midlands. Ned also previously spent 12 years at DTZ before its merger with Cushman & Wakefield.
Commenting on his latest appointment, Ned said: “This is an exciting opportunity to join Cushman & Wakefield, and I’m looking forward to working with the rest of the talented team utilising the strong links with London and our wider UK office network and abroad at a time when Birmingham is increasingly attracting attention from foreign investors.”
In his new role, Ned will work alongside fellow Partner, David Smeeton, as well as Associate, James Bladon, and will be responsible for leading the Captial Markets team from Cushman’s No.1 Colmore Square office.
As part of his new position, Ned will be advising on the acquisition and disposal of commercial investments for a myriad of high net worth private investors.
Welcoming him to the team, David Tonks, Head of Cushman & Wakefield’s Birmingham office, said: “Ned is a well-known figure within the Midlands investment market and we are thrilled he has joined the team. His arrival extends the range of services that we offer clients across all sectors and in a broad range of markets.”
