Leeds-based commercial developer, Eshton, has sold its prominent motor trade showroom to motorcycle manufacturer Cobb & Jagger, the makers of the Triumph and Ducatti brand of motorcycles.
Located in Shipley, West Yorkshire, the new 10,000 sq ft showroom sits on the 1.5-acre Salts Mill Road site, just minutes away from the motorcycle firms’ current site.
James Chapman, Managing Director at Eshton, said: “When it comes to motorcycles, Cobb and Jagger is a household name in Yorkshire, and we’re delighted to have provided a facility that gives this family-run dealership a perfectly-suited base to support their growth ambitions and expand their product offer to customers.”
Founded in 2001 by brothers James and Jonathan Chapman, the Leeds-based developer purchased the Shipley site in January this year.
James adds: “Our focus isn’t just to attract new occupiers into a location but to also provide properties for local organisations that may have outgrown their current premises or need a new site that meets their changing needs. Every property that we acquire is suited to a variety of uses and located in highly sought after areas that have a real lack of commercial floor space, and Shipley’s major regeneration over recent years provides huge potential to Cobb and Jagger and its surrounding occupiers.”
