Commercial People has learned that CBRE Leeds’ Industrial team has today secured the letting of a new warehouse to a major retailer.
Acting on behalf of CBRE Global Investors, CBRE’s Industrial team, alongside joint agents Carter Towler, have secured the leasing of a speculatively built warehouse (Unit 6) at 62 Leeds Industrial Estate.
Commenting on the lease Mike Baugh, Senior Director, CBRE’s Leeds Industrial team, said, “We are pleased to complete the deal at Leeds 62. This scheme is situated in a highly popular industrial area with immediate access to the city centre and excellent links to the wider national motorway network. We now only have one unit of 20,000 sq ft remaining on the scheme. This latest letting demonstrates the continued demand for warehouse space of this quality and location within the immediate surrounding area of Leeds.”
Unit 6 is a new build, detached 57,500 sq ft premium warehouse located on Gelderd Road (A62), one of the main arterial routes into Leeds, and the retailer has agreed to a 15-year lease at the site.
Forming part of the well-established 62 Leeds Industrial Estate, Unit 6 occupies an unrivaled location just 0.5 miles from J27 of the M62 motorway with immediate access to the M621 and Leeds City Centre.
