James O’Neill to lead CBRE’S UK Equity Placement Team

Global real estate advisor, CBRE, has announced the appointment of James O’Neill to lead the UK Equity Placement team within its Capital Advisors business.

O’Neill, who joined the CBRE team in March 2019 from Legal and General Investment Management Real Assets, has been influential in bringing together investors, developers and fund managers across global markets.

“The volume of global capital looking to deploy into real estate equity and debt strategies and diversify globally remains high, despite the current market uncertainty.”

Last year, CBRE’s Corporate Finance division sourced over €6bn of debt, raised and structured €2.7bn of equity as well as advising 55 corporate occupiers on their real estate strategies.
