Commercial People has learned that CBRE Global Investors has completed the acquisition of two large Grade A industrial units at Nimbus Park in Doncaster, South Yorkshire.
In a deal completed by CBRE’s Leeds Capital Markets team, the real estate investment division of the global property firm will acquire 270,875 sq ft of space at Nimbus Park.
Nimbus 106 and 164 are modern freehold logistics units developed by the well-established developer Sladen Estates Ltd in 2019.
Nimbus 164 is situated on a 9.8-acre self-contained site comprising 164,366 sq ft. Nimbus 106, meanwhile, is situated on a 6-acre site and is 106,509 sq ft.
Both units have a BREEAM rating of ‘Very Good’ and are occupied by Tile Giant Ltd and The Mosaic Tile Co Ltd, respectively.
Commenting on the purchase, Henry King, CBRE Capital Markets team in Leeds, said: “Nimbus Park provides excellent fundamentals in terms of unit specification and location.
“The investment’s reversionary nature also provides our client with scope for medium term rental growth and value generation and we are really pleased to have secured the asset in such a competitive market.”
Nimbus Park is strategically located less than two minutes from the M18 via Junction 6 and provides access to the M62, M1, A1(M) and the wider UK road network. Nearby operators include BMW, The Range, McDonald’s, Aldi and Sainsbury’s supermarket.
