Bulleys to Market Former Fruit Machines Building in Wolverhampton

A vacant large industrial building in Wolverhampton is set to be refurbished as project marketers Bulleys seek new occupants for the 49,80 sq ft premises.

Located on Showell Road in the Bushbury area, just north of the city centre, the West Midlands’ leading commercial property consultancy has claimed that it has already received interest from potential tenants interested in the premises.

The currently vacant building informally referred to as ‘Maygay House’ was previously home to one of Europe’s premier creators and manufacturers of coin-operated amusement/gaming machines, Maygay Machines Ltd.

Rod Spiby, a partner at Bulleys, said: “This is a detached building suitable for manufacturing or warehouse storage and distribution located just off the main A449 dual carriageway from the city centre to J2 of the M54.

“Properties of this size don’t come up very often so close to the city centre and with easy access to the wider West Midlands motorway network.”

Maygay recently vacated the property following a series of takeovers at the company. The building’s landlord is now planning a full refurbishment of the premises as it looks for new occupants.cently vacated the property following a series of takeovers at the company.
