Commercial People have learned that Ralph Brander Cunningham, the Chief Executive Officer of beloved high-street toy retailer Hamleys has stepped down as a director.
According to documents filed earlier on the Companies House website, Mr Cunningham’s termination occurred a few days ago on February 28th; however, the official TMO1 termination form was released moments ago.
Cunningham joined the retailer over six years ago and was formerly the chief operating officer before taking over from previous long-serving CEO Gudjon Reynisson in 2017.
Update: Hamleys has confirmed that House of Fraser chief Yong Shen will replace Cunningham who resigned from the company with immediate effect.
