BREAKING: CBRE Issue Coronavirus Statement

Global real estate firm CBRE has issued a statement regarding the coronavirus outbreak and its plans for MIPIM.

After fellow real estate firm, Cushman & Wakefield announced that they would no longer be sending a delegation to MIPIM 2020 in Cannes as a result of the COVID-19 (coronavirus) – Commercial People reached out to CBRE to learn more about their plans for the conference.

The coronavirus is believed to have recently affected American oil firm Chevron, and their offices in London – resulting in approximately 300 staff sent home following symptoms.

In a statement given to Commercial People CBRE said: “Amid the ongoing coronavirus outbreak, the health and safety of our staff is our primary concern and we continue to monitor and assess CBRE’s attendance at upcoming events and associated travel.”
