The multi-faceted Bis Henderson Group has announced the appointment of a new Chairman.
Joining from tour operator Park Holidays UK, the talent-to-solutions supply chain services company, revealed that they have appointed Adrian Fawcett as Chairman.
Adrian (pictured right) will join the Board of Directors and help the group with the next phase of its growth. Bis Henderson aims to become the largest platform provider for warehouse space, consulting and recruitment services to the supply chain and logistics sector and are hoping the experienced Adrian can help them achieve these goals.
Highlighting what challenges he faces, Adrian said: “Fast and efficient access to available warehouse space has become increasingly critical and relevant to the new, agile business models of today – and this is true across retail, manufacturing, distributors and supply chain service providers.
“The Brexit and Pandemic dislocations have created accelerated and unavoidable new requirements – meaning that Bis Henderson’s integrated solutions and services are increasingly vital for business success.”
During Adrian’s tenure at Park Holidays UK, the company has grown from a sub £15m company into the £1bn-valued business it is today. Park Holidays UK has also recently agreed to a purchase by the US-based real estate investment trust, Sun Communities.
In addition to Adrian’s time at Park Holidays, Adrian also became the CEO of private healthcare company BMI Healthcare and the CEO of the Silentnight Group.
Commenting on his appointment, Andy Kaye, CEO of Bis Henderson Group, said: “Adrian brings a wealth of experience and a fantastic track record of working with teams to create some of the fastest-growing, market-leading companies in their sectors.
The Board and I welcome Adrian’s insight and energy in helping us build for the future, and we look forward to working with him in what is planned to be an exciting chapter of growth and development for our business.”
