Commercial People agent, London & Cambridge Properties (LCP) has signed a deal with the world’s largest 24-hour gym firm, Anytime Fitness, to bring a new facility to Daventry.
Anytime Fitness’ new 7,600 sq ft gym will reside within the 110,395 sq ft shopping arcade, Bowen Square, which LCP recently acquired.
Commenting on the deal with Anytime Fitness, Martin Wade, LCP Asset Manager, said: “We are pleased to have completed our first deal within a few weeks of taking over Bowen Square. By attracting a well-known gym brand to the shopping parade, we’re already expanding the offering for the local community, with a welcome and much-needed leisure facility.”
The new Anytime Fitness gym will be the first to operate 24-hours in Daventry and will also be equipped with top-of-the-range free weights, cardio and other equipment. Anytime Fitness has also promised to have “dozens of exercise classes every week”.
Raja Hasib, company Director of Anytime Fitness Headington (Oxford), said: “The new gym will be spacious, safe and will have all the latest COVID safety measures,” he said. “Anytime Fitness Daventry will create a supportive, community-based atmosphere and will provide engaging and premium services at an affordable price.
“The club’s management team is excited to work with both commercial and local businesses, to get the community fit and healthy again and to meeting everyone and showing them around once we’ve completed the fit out.”
