Allied Surveyors Scotland Appoints Senior Commercial Valuer

One of Scotland’s largest chartered surveyors Allied Surveyors Scotland has announced the immediate appointment of David Harvey as a Senior Commercial Valuer.

Joining with immediate effect from Lothian Valuation Joint Board, David, 43 will be a part of Allied’s Edinburgh office and has previous experience as a Senior Value for 15 years at Lothian, where he latterly held the position of Divisional Valuer.

Commenting on his appointment, David said: “This is an exciting move to one of Scotland’s largest firms of Chartered Surveyors and I look forward to providing a dedicated commercial valuation service for our wide range of clients.”

David will now be based out of Allied Surveyors’ Walker Street office in the capital’s west end. His appointment swiftly follows the announcement of former Scotland rugby internationalist Gavin Kerr as a Senior Building Surveyor.

David will be working closely with Allied Surveyors’ East Coast commercial agency department which was launched last year by Iain Mercer.

Highlighting David’s qualities, Mr Mercer, Director of Commercial Agency (east) said: “David brings with him a skill-set and level of experience which will further enhance what we are offering as a firm in commercial property,”
