The Leeds-headquartered commercial developer, Eshton, has announced that it has pre-let a 6,000 sq ft unit at its Castleford site in West Yorkshire on a 15-year lease.
The unit will be leased by Eurocell, a leading manufacturer, distributor and recycler of UPVC window, door, conservatory and roofline systems. The Castleford unit will become Eurocell’s 219th branch in the UK, with the company having already opened 10 new branches this year.
Commenting on the unit, Andy McDonnell, Managing Director of Eurocell Building Plastics, said: “We’re pleased to announce yet another addition to the trade branch network in Castleford.
“By adding this new branch to the network, we’re able to continue the brand’s growth in West Yorkshire, whilst providing more convenience for our customers and more job opportunities for local residents.
“The new branch has come at a pivotal time for the team, as we continue to see the demand for our high-quality product range grow. And after a difficult 12 months, it’s fantastic to see Eurocell continue to grow from strength to strength.”
Work began on site at Castleford in March on both Eurocell’s unit and an additional 4,000 sq ft building, which Formula One Auto Centres will occupy.
David Singleton, director at Eshton, said: “Eurocell is recognised as the UK’s largest manufacturer and distributer of building plastics, which is reflected in its continual growth and ability to spot new market opportunities. By taking this unit at our Castleford site for 15 years without a break clause, Eurocell is demonstrating a long-standing commitment to supporting the West Yorkshire region with new job vacancies and a wealth of services that will contribute to the local economy after such a turbulent time.”
